About Arlington Country Day School

Also known as ACDS, Arlington Country Day School opened its doors in 1954 to teach Pre-Kindergarten through 8th graders. Arlington Country Day School received full accreditation in 1968. In 1995 Arlington Country Day School introduced it's first high school freshman class. Many of those students went on to be a part of the first Graduating Class in 1999.

Arlington Country Day School, situated in a quiet residential setting, offers an educational foundation to children age Pre-Kindergarten 4 through high school.

The Elementary grades, Kindergarten through 5th grade, offer a small class setting where individual strengths and needs of a student may be addressed. A solid foundation in the academics is the goal of our elementary program.

In grades 6th through 8th, Middle School, students are prepared for the rigors of our high school program while continuing to acknowledge each child's individual strengths and needs.

Arlington Country Day School's High School offers two academic programs. The majority of the schools students engage in a challenging traditional college preparatory curriculum. The school also provides an opportunity for a standard Florida high school diploma developed for workforce or community college entrance.

Students at all levels are exposed to foreign language, music, library science, physical education, art, and related field trips. Every effort is made to communicate student progress with parents. The school's atmosphere is informal, yet pleasant and purposeful.

Arlington Country Day School is Accredited by S.A.C.S. (Southern Association of Colleges and Schools), the National Independent Private Schools Association as well as the Association of Independent Schools of Florida.
